Petmate Zeolite Filter for Hooded Cat Litter Pan Black, Jumbo

Think it's great and it works for me. Only thing it didn't fit any of my four litter boxes. No problem! My husband cut off the parts that wouldn't fit into the filter area itself. Like I said it's good and cuts down on the odors.

I ordered a jumbo cat litter box. The clear plastic swinging door was defective in that it was wider than the opening. When I pushed the clear plastic door, because it was too wide, it jammed to the sides of cut-out space and would not swing at all. I had to really push it hard to unstick it, and my 8-pound cat would not have had a chance of being able to enter the box with her own strength. I am a 68-year old woman who is not handy and I do not own any scissors that would be sharp enough to trim the door, nor would I know how to trim it properly (and I shouldn't HAVE to trim a door on a brand new litter box). I'm in quarantine due to the pandemic, and it wasn't worth my time or risking my life to go to to the Post Office to ship the litter box back to PetMate. So I removed the door and the litterbox is otherwise fine -- it is clean, new, room for lots of litter, and it looks fine, but there is minimal odor control as a result of the big open door space (mitigated by charcoal filters). I didn't ask for a refund because I didn't return it. I'm just stuck with it. However, the litter box works functions in every way except for having no door cover. The cat used it immediately with no adjustment issues from her previous box (which had just gotten too old). It's roomy for her, which I think she likes.
