My wife thinks this is a wonderful product. It has a large gel pad on the side that covers the bunion. And a gel spacer that rests between the big toe and the first toe. This provides for comfortable walking without pain. She highly recommends it.

May not be helpful

Although this is a well made product that seemed to fit well and was a reasonable price, I have to report that my affected foot began to hurt after wearing it. The pain was not from the product being too tight or skin being irritated, but actual structural pain. it's possible I may have worn it too long to start with and needed to work into wearing it for longer periods of time. I still hesitate to I recommend it, unless people are cautious or consult a physician.
