Worked great ricing potato pieces with skins on. Slightly reducing the number of pieces in the ricer made it much easier to squeeze. End product was very dry, but whipping butter and milk into it made great tasting mashed potatoes. Hand washing was easy. We plan to use the ricer on our RV. We see this as an easier process than having to find a sturdy surface to place a hot pot and mash potatoes while doing food prep of multiple items.
