Alpaca Outdoor Kerosene Cooker Compact Portable Single Burner 8500 BTU

Best little burner for cooking AND for some very effective HEATING, for it's size. I would recommend this compact cooker for camping AND home use. For emergencies, I can think of no other product "better than" this Alpaca. Please note; I am in my mid 70's and have been around a bit. I have many camping experiences during my life along with quite a few power outages in the past several decades. From the perspective of my life experiences, I can honestly say, I wish I had one of these during any camping trip or emergencies at home. "Ease of use" is my opinion, but, I can certainly understand that many folks in today's world are rather limited in such things as MANY cannot even read properly. Buy it. Read the directions and I can promise you that you will be glad you own one. Me, I now own two! You can cook whatever you want; all day if needed. It burns so long that you could use it for distilling water with no problems. In a large tent it would be great for heating and cooking. The only maintence of note is changing out the wick when needed and maybe brushing off the wick and burner assembly as carbon flakes can build up a little. Not heavy at all, so easy to move around; has built in slots on sides to pick it up. I cannot imagine anyone having regrets owning at least one of these. Burns all day on about a gallon. If you keep it on for 24 hours, say for cooking and heating, figure about two gallons of fuel.
