Say it isn't so!

Like Gnarly fan#1, I cannot get my absolute favorite wine, Authentic Black, anymore. Why is that? The prominent supermarket (Publix) here in FLA is where I discovered it and is where I always purchased it until recently. They can't give me an answer. I searched online to see if there are other retailers to find Total Wines, a gigantic wine retailer, stopped carrying Authentic Black. Again, WHY?? No one can give me an answer. I would hope Gnarly Head can provide the answer. :)

Why isn't this sold in Pennsylvania anymore?

I tasted this magnificent wine for the first time when I was in Delaware, last month, caring for my daughter after neck surgery. We absolutely LOVED it. After I came home to Pennsylvania, I discovered that it is "closed out". Can you tell me why? It is not the same as 1924, which is delicious in it's own right.

We're glad you enjoyed Authentic Black. Unfortunately, the wine has been discontinued. While we too enjoyed the wine, it wasn’t as popular among other drinkers. We recommend trying our two popular varietals - Zinfandel and Cabernet Sauvignon.

Best wine ever.

I have been drinking Authentic Black for years. It is the best wine I have tasted. It is smooth, full bodied and slides down your throat like silk. Bought it by the case. Went on vacation and and returned to find out that you no longer make or bottle it anymore. sure wish you would bring back the Authentic Black.
