Not your mother's Swanson turkey dinner
It's been a while since I had a real TV dinner. This one featured not the ubiquitous chicken filet, made of heaven knows what, but a real dinner with real chicken pieces. When I had the chicken, it had a real flavor profile, as if someone knew what they were doing and cared. From a single person who never bought these meals to someone who now had them twice a week, I was won over.

Making a big meal for one person doesn't seem worth the effort. Baking a Hungry Man Frozen Meal takes the work out of cooking dinner. They seem to be just the right portions for my husband. He's a picky eater but likes fried chicken, corn and potatoes so it's a no brainer for me to keep a couple of these dinners in the freezer for him. If it were up to me, I'd keep the freezer stocked full of these meals and never have to cook a full meal ever again.
