We installed this swing on our back patio cover near the sitting area so we can all be together. The construction is well enough that we do not fear for safety. Our little grand nuggets have been swinging since they were 8 months and about 15 pounds. We placed a blanket around them to hold them still. Now they have to core strength to swing, sway, and twist playfully at 11 mo and 18 lbs. They even pull up their feet to hold and play with or to place in the other swing holes for a different swinging experience.

Very sturdy and well made product. Only drawback is my g-daughter is around 15 months old and the seat is a little large so she does lean forward slightly more than i like but i put a blanket balled up a little in front of her and its fine until she gets a smidge older.
