What Jess said 😂. It's a great exfoliator especially if you have sensitive skin. My skin is highly prone to redness and eczema so this is the best exfoliator I've come across. It doesn't lather and doesn't need to. It cleans just fine considering it doesn't mention makeup removing abilities. Also if you're using an exfoliator to remove makeup you're doing it wrong anyway.

I am impressed. People do not understand how bad it is to have sensitive skin and having oily skin is a double whammy, their washing routines are terrible for me and can result in chemical burns (using Oxy or Stridex pads and not washing off immediately, with soap, will cause severe irritation). I have no burning or stinging after using this (very minimal redness that quickly goes away) and it actually exfoliated throughout the day, better than with my salicylic face wash (yet no burning/redness/stinging). It was not drying at all and my continuously flaking skin around my nose is no longer flaking, I also found the gel moisturizer helps a lot and does not burn either. I was worried since my oily skin seems to need a foaming face wash but that is not the case with this cleanser. My face feels soft after washing so I was concerned it wasn't actually cleaning enough and I would wind up having pimples. I found I don't need to irritate my face in order to exfoliate and my acne has improved significantly. I wish I had this stuff in the 90s when I was a teen instead of chemical burn inducing stridex or oxy. Through trial and error I am now using (and I am just a person, not an Aveeno salesperson): -Aveeno Positively Radiant Daily Gel Facial Moisturizer with Hyaluronic Acid %26 Tone-Correcting Soy -Aveeno Calm and Restore Oat Gel Moisturizer (during the winter or when my skin is extremely irritated or dry) -Aveeno Body Wash - it cleans and is not harsh. I garden and do a lot of physical work in my yard and house so I need something that cleans. -Aveeno Eczema nighttime balm -Grapeseed Oil - big bottle, I use, in the winter, nightly after showering while skin is wet and on the ends of my hair. Curel and Neutrogena also have excellent products. Curel after shower body moisturizer and Curel body lotion (red label with colloidal oatmeal) My most favorite product is: Neutrogena Stubborn Texture Exfoliating toner stuff. It is so weird to have these products that leave my skin soft yet they actually work! I have oily, sensitive skin, I'm almost 50 and have to take a nightly shower or else my hair will be a stringy, oily mess and I'll begin having acne on my body. My skin is also very sensitive and those moisturizers that have ceramides and are "made for sensitive skin" causes burning and redness. Any citric acid from citric fruit or peeling potatoes results in burning, red skin unless I wash my hands immediately after handling fruits or rinsing hands after peeling each potato. I get contact dermatis from a lot of products...foods, clothing, plants, etc.
