shower valve
installation and design are not very good. Requiring bottom supply from valve up to shower and then having to create bypass for third position on transfer valve. All unnecessary poor deisng.

Beutiful, but did not durable.
We purchased a commercial grade 8342 wall mount shower assembly, expecting durability. True it has been in service for years, with guests using it, but I would not expect the threaded end of hose to wall manifold breaking. I see the newer version has a threaded male end, compared to our earlier version, with female thread. There is not a repair to this other than hose and manifold, which is near the cost of complete set from a competitor. Not commercial grade in my opinion.

We are sorry to hear that the hose/drop ell connection broke on your Moen Commercial chrome Posi-Temp transfer shower only fixture. Both the hose, part number A726 and the drop ell, part number A725, are replaceable parts that would not require the walls to be opened up to do the repair. Please contact one of our product specialists for help troubleshooting any issues you are experiencing with this Moen product.
