You do have to take the phone case apart gently to put it on the phone there are instructions how to do it I took a picture and enlarged the instructions so I could figure it out and I also cut the flap off that was over the charger opening it was pushing on the charger cord which I don't think that would be a good thing to constantly push the phone cord besides that I think it was a good price a nice durable quality !!
