Aesthetically cute bed, but too big

The bed is wonderful my daughter loved it. Easy to assemble and it lights up both with the controller and the app. The only issue is in the sizing. We got the bed frame for a queen sized bed, but the frame is about 10 inches too long on the bottom. Even on the sides there is some extra space but it isn't as noticeable as the space on the feet of the bed. We tried covering it up with the comforter but it's still there. It's also a bit dangerous cause you can hit your leg on the bed frame since there is no actual mattress there. Overall it's cute but the sizing is really off.
