Great for kids with special diets

My eight-year-old autistic son was just recently diagnosed with a T1D, these have been our savior. Being autistic he was a chicken nugget lover, when he was diagnosed with the diabetes, we had to make several changes and finding something that was low in carbs, but still had a good taste. What happened? These used to be good.

I was excited to pick up a bag of these because every time I have had them before they were wonderful. Crispy on the outside, lightly breaded, tender on the inside. I cooked as directed as I always do. They were perfect… Until I put them in my mouth. What? They were rubbery, the breading was soggy. They were so bad when they’ve always been so good. I’m wondering whether or not I should even bother eating anymore from the bag or just toss them and give up. But they’re not cheap…. I mean they used to taste like chicken. Now they taste like an eraser.
