This is a very comfortable, adorable, hoodie shirt! I bought the rust colored one first, %26 liked it so much I just bought the navy one too. I might even also get the oatmeal color. The material is very soft %26 feels good against the skin. I call pieces like this, my “comfort clothes.” They help make you feel like you're nurturing yourself and giving yourself a big hug - lol. If you want to layer with a shirt underneath, follow the sizing guide. It is a very relaxed fit, I would even describe it as oversized. If you don't want this look, my advice is to size down one size. I haven't had these hoodies long %26 can't give insight to how well they will do after washing and drying. To protect them from potential snagging, I wash them in laundry bags and follow the label instructions to use gentle cycle. I prefer hang drying, to protect from color fading. If you've done any research on clothing longevity, You know that dryer's are very bad on clothing, since they wear down fabrics (especially delicate) and fade colors, making clothing look old %26 worn out sooner. I only have one advice of caution, it could easily snag. I would not term the material as too thin, but more on the delicate side. For example, I will not keep it on around my cat or energetic pup. I could see it getting snagged easily and quickly in that scenario. If you're looking for sturdy fabric or substantial warmth, this isn't the top for you. In this case, you would want to go with something like the Time and Tru or Hanes fleece hoodies. If you live in a moderate climate (I live in San Diego), or want a little extra layer between seasons that isn't too warm, this works very well! For a reference, my height is 5‘5 1/2, weight is 125, %26 I purchased size smalls. I could easily fit into size XS, if I want a more streamlined %26 less oversized look.
