Catchmaster Dual Action Plant Labels & Sticky Traps 100PK, Indoor Outdoor Plant Stakes

What an ingenious idea! I needed some new labels for my flower and vegetable plants. Living in a forest gives me better than average chance of insects visiting the plants. I've bought the separate insect sticky pads and used in the past. They are effective and lets me avoid harsh chemical insecticides. These will do the same. I took a steel scrubber pad to rough up the front edge a bit. I've had problems with permanent markers not staying on other labels. I made a set of labels for the plants and poured water over them and rubbed them with my hand to see if the marker came off. This surface seems more conducive to retaining the lettering...nothing even smeared. These labels are also thicker and sturdier than the economy brands. They slipped right into the garden bed and containers quite easily without bending over. The tacky side of the label already had some little gnat like bugs the first night they were out. Serving two purposes at once is a bonus and they appear to work very well. Will have to get some more soon!

The sticky traps work great. I'm having a problem with fungus nats, and so I stick these little sticky traps in the plants, and they catch a lot of the fungus nats as they come out.
