I am absolutely in love with the Mega Chef 30 Quart Digital French Door Multi-Function Electric Convection Oven! This appliance has completely transformed my cooking experience. It's like having a professional-grade oven at home, but with the convenience of a compact, countertop design. First off, the French doors are a fantastic touch. They open smoothly and give easy access to the oven's interior, which makes loading and unloading food a breeze. No more awkward reaching or struggling to pull out hot trays! The 30-quart capacity is impressive—it fits a full-sized turkey, large pizzas, or multiple trays of baked goods. I've used it for everything from roasting to baking to broiling, and the convection feature ensures even, thorough cooking every time. The heat is distributed perfectly, so my dishes come out crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. Another highlight is the digital control panel. It's super intuitive and user-friendly. I can easily adjust the temperature, timer, and cooking modes without any hassle. It even has presets for different functions like baking, broiling, toasting, and more, which saves so much time and effort. Cleaning is surprisingly easy as well, with a non-stick interior and removable trays that are simple to wipe down. Plus, the sleek design and modern finish make it a beautiful addition to any kitchen. Whether you're cooking for a crowd or just prepping a quick weeknight meal, this oven does it all. I can't recommend the Mega Chef Digital French Door Oven enough. It's powerful, versatile, and an absolute joy to use. It's now my go-to kitchen appliance!

Specs: - Inside dimensions: 13.5"W x 10"D x 6.5"H (effective height from lowest wire rack position). - There are 11 cooking modes, each with its own default setting and limited range of temperature and time variations. - The display turns off about 30 minutes after last use. - Time to warm up to 450F: 5 minutes. Positives: - Back to basics, no confusing never-used bells and whistles, but still with a few convenient presets. - Very quiet operation, even with convection fan on it is still whisper quiet (it actually makes me wonder if the convection fan is even working). - Large capacity (although, only 10" deep so a large 12" or 13" pizza won't fit). - Overall look is attractive. - Large doors make it easy to see inside the oven. - Temperature appears to be accurate (tested on the 450F setting with empty oven - see actual performance below). - The timer countdown shows minutes as well as seconds. Questionable: - Oven is very lightweight, and doors look and feel flimsy with gaps to allow heat to escape. You need to use both hands to open the doors - pulling just one door feels like it might snap the mechanism that connects both doors. - Outside material is a fingerprint magnet. - The crumb tray can not be pulled out horizontally, you need to tilt it to remove it from the oven, allowing it to spill any fluids or crumbs. - The display turns off after about 30 minutes, even when baking, so you need to turn the nob to turn on the display again. - At the end of a cooking process the display turns back to the default settings so it is difficult to simply add a few minutes at the end. - Though the oven reaches 450F when empty, in actual use baking bread in a ceramic form, the oven reaches only 400F on the 450F settings. Wishlist: - It would be nice to have 2 or 3 custom settings that can be saved. Currently there are a few preset default settings but no option to customize. - I'd prefer if the oven would auto-start after pre-heating (because these small ovens pre-heat so quickly). Currently you need to press a button after the pre-heat phase to start the cooking phase. - I wish the convection function is turned on by default for the baking and cookies modes. Currently it is always off when selecting any mode. - The display should remain on during the full duration of the cooking/baking process. - At the end of a cooking/baking process the settings should stay as selected - not revert back immediately to the default settings. - Ideally the timer should pause when the doors are opened. Overall impression: - This is an attractive looking large-capacity oven for a low price with basic functionality and acceptable performance. - Would I buy it again? Not sure, I might look for an oven that's more sturdy and that includes several of my wish-list items.
