When traveling, it doubles as an excellent hot water kettle with auto shut-off safety. The BPA-free material water outlet meets FDA food-grade standards, making it the ideal partner for healthy living.
Before First Use
1.Please brew water to clean the water tank for the first use or after use a long period of time.
2.The coffee brewer should be used below 6000 feet (about 1800 meters above sea level).
3.Do not use expresso pod,it is uncompatible with the coffee machine.
Cleaning and Descaling Instructions
Safety First: Always unplug the coffee brewer and allow it to cool down completely before cleaning.
Understanding Scale Build-Up: The mineral content in water can vary significantly depending on your location. This can lead to the accumulation of calcium deposits or scale in your coffee brewer. While scale is non-toxic, it can impair the performance of your coffee machine. Regular de-scaling helps maintain the optimal condition of the parts that come into contact with water.
Descaling Process
Prepare the Cleaning Solution: Fill the water tank with 12oz of a cleaning solution made from water and household scale remover (use a ratio of 4 parts water to 1 part scale remover).
Initiate the Descaling Cycle: Close the lid assembly, place a mug with a capacity of at least 12oz on the drip tray, and press the Power Button to start the de-scaling process.
Rinse the Machine: Once the de-scaling cycle is complete, empty and rinse the mug. Refill the water tank with 12oz of plain water, and press the Power Button to rinse the machine.
Repeat if Necessary: If there is still an unpleasant taste, repeat the rinsing process (Step 3) until the taste is neutral.
By following these steps, you can ensure your coffee brewer remains in top condition, delivering the best possible coffee experience every time.
