I was surprised. I have two cats and they could not puncture it. It is amazing. They have punctured so many of the other inflatable air mattresses prior to this one. The weight capacity , the pumping up , the pulling out have been very easy. As a matter of fact the it is still up and in my entry area of my home. I have not done any of the repacking it as of yet. But if all these other things were easily handled I am sure that the repacking will be also.
