This Vision Scientific compound microscope has a 45° inclined dual viewing head that reduces neck and eye strain. The WF 10x and WF 20x eyepieces are interchangeable, allowing for increased magnification from 40x—800x.It features a reverse nosepiece to facilitate easy slide changes. Three achromatic objectives are parcentered and parfocaled to ensure the image stays centered and focused during every magnification change, while also providing sharp, color-corrected images.The 40xR objective is retractable and spring-loaded to prevent damage to slides and objectives when focusing. It is also sealed to protect against further damage that can be caused from contact with liquid or oils.An iris diaphragm controls the amount of light illuminating the specimen. Brightfield LED illumination illuminates the specimen from below, making the specimen appear bright, but much darker than the bright background. This allows the darker specimen to be contrasted by the surrounding bright viewing field.
