Easy Spirit Women's Black Semargo Snow Boot: I ordered a size 9m and 8m because they didn't come in half sizes nor wide width. They both are a bit tight on my toes, the 8 being tighter. I needed a wide width. I'm short, I'm chubby, I have fat feet with short toes and thick calves. I typically wear an 8w, but in an 8.5m to compensate the difference, which the 8.5 can still be a bit tight which usually takes a breaking in period. In these boots, the 9 was large in length and the 8 was wearable in length. As mentioned, that both are tight on my toe width, however the 9's are tolerable. I'm going to keep the 9's and break them in. Both were equally snug around my calves. They fit just below my calf muscle, so that was the perfect height that I wanted to get through snow. Although both are snug, it's not too uncomfortable tight zipped up. But you may want to consider your calf size before ordering. They are cute but I haven't worn them yet to know how well they'll repel water and snow. They feel very soft and warm on the inside. Although the 9's are a little big in length for my foot, I don't slip in them or have any troubles walking because the height of the boot fits snug on my calves holding everything in place. Therefore I would rather have the larger than the smaller size since the smaller was tighter on my toes. I will have to squeeze the zipper together to zip them since my legs are thicker, as I didn't want to add too much tension on the zipper and it goes off track and separates. Keep that in mind when zipping. But once zipped, it was not uncomfortable nor digging into my leg. I got the 8's for my friend and she completely loved them. She's thin/avg and said they fit her perfect. I believe she typically wears a 7 shoe. She did not want me to exchange for a different size. They'll look cute with shorts also. Give them a try, take them back if they don't fit.
