If there is one knife every cook should reach for, it's a chef's knife. This all-purpose blade is fantastic for a variety of cutting tasks. It's perfect for slicing and dicing small to medium-sized fruits, vegetable and proteins. With it's curved belly, the chef's knife can be gently "rocked" through fresh herbs or spices to produce a very fine mince.

Versatile and Nimble
For a more budget friendly Shun, this knife absolutely performs above its pay grade. Sharp as a razor, well balanced, and comfortable when at work. I love it and highly recommend it to anyone not wanting to spend as much on some of the higher end model. I own several Shun knives and this is my daily go to.
