These work so easily and effectively. I can take one out and use it before my cats even know what is coming. They wipe the inside of the ear where you can see it so it is safe to use. It is wet enough to get the job done but not too wet so the cats go crazy with the feeling of being wet. They are nice and soft and stays wet in the container for as long as I need. Great bigger size so my fingers can get behind them and my fingers do not get dirty. My cats always have dirty brown stuff in their ears and it is itchy for them. This relieves some of the itch without going too deep into the ear canal. The pads are thick enough to be durable and just toss away when done.
