I use this product in my daughter's thin 4b, high porosity hair. She had a major breakage a few years back and had issues with pulling and yanking on her hair. I switched to crochet styles because for some reason, she would leave the fake hair alone. After shampooing and conditioning her hair, I use this product all on its own for her cornrow foundation beneath each style. I leave the styles in for 2-3 weeks and every time I take her hair out, her natural hair is still soft and moisturized with no tangles. Even after swimming this summer, her hair was not left completely dry and brittle like before. She has regrown her length and more, which is saying something because her hair grows really slowly so that I used to hate having to trim her ends. I could probably increase her growth even more if I added a deep conditioning treatment every now and then. I highly recommend.
