Installation was easy, but it will help to keep the brackets closer to the ground, since you have to lift the bikes upright to anchor into the brackets. It just minimizes how much you need to lift the bikes up. I really like storing the bikes upright like this to maximize the space in the garage.

They went up quite easy. The only thing I would advise is if you have a child's bike with training wheels, you won't be able to lay the bike to the side. So it does take a little bit of garage space up from where I can't bag up as far. But other than that, it came out great
