Designed for home use this amazing planetarium projects more than 10 000 northern hemisphere stars onto your ceilings and walls. Astronomically accurate it even represents the relative magnitude of the projected stars. Select the natural sky image disk or switch to the heavenly bodies disk to see incredibly detailed projected illustrations of the Earth Sun and Moon. Activate the axial rotation feature to add some animation to your sky gazing. Includes 2 interchangeable image disks AC adapter and planetarium soundtrack CD. Wonderful for the price!
We love our new home planetarium!! We couldn't afford the $700 Sega one, and heard that this one, at a fraction of the cost, wasn't far behind it. We love it! One thing we did, though, is that, along with buying the Star Theater Pro, we also purchased Miller Engineering's star disc, which is just phenomenal. It costs $50, but we thought the total cost of around $150 was well worth having our own home planetarium! It's just so beautiful, and we often put it on when we're going to sleep, and practice picking out the constellations.
