The Story

Our whole church is doing this study, each week's sermon will focus on it, and there are a number of small groups that will be gathering to use the DVD and participant's guide to facilitate discussion. The book itself, The Story: The Bible as One Continuing Story of God and His People, which has the ISBN 9780310950974 in case you need to buy that, too, is a chronological compilation of selected Scriptures from the NIV Bible, arranged to give a broad overview of the whole story of the Bible, from the beginning of creation to the end of time--- sort of a Readers Digest condensed version that hits all the main themes but doesn't necessarily give every detail. I'm sure there will be lots of in-depth stuff on the DVD and clarifying questions in this adult participant's curriculum guide. I'm very excited about getting started on it next week. Very happy to find this guide at a discounted price here at Walmart.com--- quite a saving for me, especially since it was free shipping with site-to-store.
