THERE IS A SWITCH ON THE BOTTOM TO WHERE YOU ARE ABLE TO HAVE FLASHING LIGHTS OR SOLID. FLUFF THEM AND PUT THE TWO METAL RODS TOGETHER AND PUT THEM IN THE GROUND OR YOUR FAVORITE VASE. JUST REMEMBER TO HAVE THE SOLAR PANEL BOX FACING THE SUN. THEY DO NOT NEED BATTERIES SO AGAIN ANOTHER PLUS, THEY GLOWED VIBRANT WITH THE LIGHTS ON DURING THE DAY SO YOU KNOW THEY WILL LIGHT UP YOUR GARDEN AT NIGHT. YOU CAN'T GO WRONG WITH THESE FLOWER LED LIGHTS NOR ANYTHING YOU GET FROM THIS SELLER.
