My grand kids are bi-racial and this gives their hair the hold it needs from braids to twist.. smell is nice and Not overwhelming like some hair products. I have used many braiding products. I use easy braid and love it. I tried this one when I ran out of easy braid and let me tell you. This definitely holds the hair. I braided with it and used it as a edge control. product definitely slayed. My brown skin girls with course hair or even curly hair that loves to wave or curl up try this.
