Perfect for basement bathroom w/ 120v for light, fan, and additional heat
Live in Minnesota. This is the 2nd Model 164 I have installed in basement bathroom. The first was still operating through two cover upgrades 20+ yrs. Replaced when repaired ceiling sheetrock, with new model had bought 2 years prior. Best with 250W BR40 heat bulb..

Perfect for SMALLER bathroom
I purchased and installed this heater to replace a Broan 161 single lamp unit with no circulating fan. This one by far exceeds expectations in my situation. The bathroom I installed this in is roughly 65 sq feet. This does a great job in that size of space and does NOT require a dedicated 20A circuit as other larger capacity heaters do. It would not work well in a larger bathroom. I do recommend getting "shatter resistant" lamps for this just in case a lamp breaks. That way you won't have any shattered glass all over the bathroom floor. Lamps purchased separately.
