This worked for my 1984 jeep CJ7. I ended up using the smallest hex key I had on hand to push out each wire from the connector whch made it possible to feed the wires down the steering column. I took pictures to ensure I had them plugged back in the right spot before reconnecting. Works as it should and half the price of others I saw online.

Perfect fit for 1983 Jeep cj7 with tilt steering column. Should replace turn signal cancel cam if your replacing switch. It seems like it wore more than the signal switch.
