Perfume based on Mellis accord featuring resins

Beautiful perfume, not an exact copy of Opium (1977), I would probably say, sharper, deeper, thicker version of it. Bold, classics, excellent example of mellis accord built on a solid base of myrrh, opoponax and patchouli. This is for people who appreciate classics and love deep balsamic, slightly dirty scents. Great sillage (sparkling cloves, rose, powder, warm spices with contrasting balsamic hum at the background) and longevity - 6 hours on skin and eternal on clothes/hair. Easily unisex. PS: Safe for those sensitive to headache inducing dry woody bases. My fresh 2025 batch doesn't have any.

Yves Saint Laurent's Opium perfume, both the original and its flanker Black Opium, receive high praise from me. PerThe original Opium is known for its rich, spicy, and oriental scent, while Black Opium offers a gourmand fragrance with notes of coffee, vanilla, and white flowers. I find both fragrances to be long-lasting and sophisticated. Some folks find the original too heavy, and others find Black Opium too common or disappointing. I favor Black Opium over the Original.
