More than 60 years after its unveiling, Junghan's Max Bill watches were a wonderful inspiration for the 3 special and limited edition timepieces under the Max Bill Edition Set 60, each symbolizing six decades of Max Bill on the wrist and presented in a uniform color scheme of anthracite gray, beige gray and orange. This Max Bill MEGA Kleine Sekunde Edition 60 is a limited edition of only 1,060 pieces and features a 38 mm anthracite gray PVD-coated stainless steel case with a matte white dial under a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal. It has gray, orange, and luminescent pencil hands with slim indices as hour markers. This is complemented by the series-typical luminous dots (3, 6 & 9 o'clock) and luminous integrated into "60" (12 o'clock). A discreet date window is located at the 3 o'clock position and sub-seconds at the 6 o'clock position. Orange accents are evident via the 12 o'clock index, luminous substance on the hands, and strap interior lining. It is fitted with a beige light gray leather strap and secured with an anthracite gray PVD-coated steel signed buckle. The solid caseback is held by 4 screws and engraved with the Edition 60 logo, Max Bill signature, and limited edition number which encases the Junghans MEGA caliber J101.66, a multi-frequency radio-controlled quartz movement and is water resistant up to 30 meters/100 feet.
