The notebook looks sleek from the outside - and in contrast to earlier models - it really has a metal casing with a flashy and programmable lightstrip. It does have 2 NVME slots on the inside and does allow therefore to add more SSD space if so wanted. The speed of the device is awesome. It was able to run all my games (and I have a lot), most of them in maximum settings with a smooth framerate. The display is phenomenal. Using HDR makes all the games look so much better! In contrast to many other devices, I have to say that the fan is even in perfomance mode highly acceptable! The Asus additional software is as usual very helpful! On the slightly negative side are the countless services which are installed with the software and the fact that they have to run constantly. It took me a while to figure out that you have to disable in the Armory crate the override of the power management as otherwise it constantly sets the sleep timer to 3 minutes (which is really annoying). Last but not least: I used the notebook also for Lightroom and a lot of other creative applications and the speed is like on my desktop, Amazing! There you have it. It is a very nice all-rounder which can really play all the games!
