I found assembly to be quite easy. no tools required. other reviews mention about it falling apart as theyre assembling or once finished assembling. however, for me there is nothing that would indicate its going to fall apart. it comes with zip ties that i focued more around the lower connections that support the weight. nothing about it feels like its just going to fall apart. it even comes with a little hammer to ensure that all connections are seated fully and i think some users are just not seating the connections fully. Just be mindful as to where to put the zip ties. I would agree that you're going to want some metal clips to latch the doors shut as most large birds will figure out to unlatch the plastic ones it comes with. There are spare parts included and acessories to customize just the way you want. Also just due to the nature of how it assembles you could actually build 2 separate smaller cages if you wanted to. Ultimately can reshape it any way you like. I was weary of buying at first, but i had that feeling the other customers to review were being a bit over dramatic. They were. This cage is great for moving around the house to each of my birds. i place them in it while their primary cage is cleaned, then move to the next one. the wheels make it super conveinent to bounce around the house and rolls on carpet just fine.
