My only gripe is the protective coating
Everything is great with the hood. It looks great and works well. My only gripe is the protective coating wrapped into the seam and was sandwiched between two pieces of metal on the top of the hood. The coating would not pull off without tearing. This made for a lot of cleanup work in the seam with a razor blade that could have been avoided with a little more thought put into the assembly of the hood.

Fit all the requirement I had
I'm super happy with this hood vent. This was the best hood vent I could find that had a good depth (~24"). Most of them are much shorter than that. This unit had 400cfm so I wouldn't have to install make-up air system. I like that the lights are in the middle, rather than the front or back. They light the cooking surface well. The three minute auto shut off timer is very convenient. Now I can cook a burger without smoking up the house! :) LOL I'm very happy with this purchase.
