Great buy despite cheap pocket fabric; a bit large

A longer rise that usual for Walmart! Yay! I often return Walmart pants because they are too short from groin to waist, even 'high-waisted' pants. The fit may be because I bought these in a 20. Frankly, I would consider sizing down if the 18 wasn't sold out. My one criticism of these the material used for the (generously sized) - it is kind of rough and starchy and doesn't lie completely smoothly against the skin. SInce the 20 is a little big, it's not a problem, but if I went a size down, you might be able to notice it in an unflattering way. I'm 5'6" to 5'7" and these will require hemming, but they are worth it. (I also bought the jacket, but am less impressed with the fit and workmanship.)

Beautiful draping wide leg

This is a lovely piece to a multi piece set. It is nice and long plus it has good hem allowance should I desire to have them let down/lengthened!!!! I can't thank Scoop enough for making nice, long pants with decent hem fabric allowance to have a seamstress let them down and weight them appropriately so they flow and hang well. Thank you!!!!! Anyone can make things shorter but you can't make things longer if there isn't enough fabric to let down. Besides…a nice pant hangs, flows and feels better with weight at the hem. I had to get these many sizes to big as everything was sold out but I'll have them altered. It still won't cost specialty store/tall store prices for this pair of pants even with the cost of alterations. Now I have a multiple piece set for a fraction of the cost and no one will know the difference because it is “how you wear it” that gives people a first impression. I'm not trying to fool anyone that couture is where my wardrobe resides.

These are great looking, comfortable pinstripe slacks at an affordable price. The material is high quality and heavier weight. It's best worn in cooler weather. It fits true to size. The only issue is the length. These pants are definitely made for tall people so they will need to be tailored if short people.
