I usually can't wear any sandals with the separation of the toe. However the way Mephisto creates the separation with a flat surface rather than a rounded cord, makes all the difference. So the comfort level is like day and night. I chose this style because I liked the pattern and it seemed more neutral, hence can wear it with a lot of outfits.
