I have been searching for a comb for my Treeing Walker Coonhound forever and I almost gave up. I finally came across a few combs like this and decided to give this brand a try due to price and how the handle was shaped. It actually works! And my dog will actually sit still and likes it, I think because the teeth aren't long enough to dig into his skin. The only down side is I wish there was a feature that helped clear the teeth of fur. It is a bit tedious trying to get the fur out of the comb, but not horrible. :)

I have a lab-border collie mix and she relentlessly sheds. I have tried several other brushes to get rid of some of this fur and while they did fine on the top coat, they did nothing to remove hair from my dogs thick dense under coat. I finally broke down and bought this brush. When it arrived, I was pleasantly surprised. It is heavy and well made, but more importantly IT WORKS. I spent a good amount of time brushing out my dog and the amount of fur I got off her filled a trash bag. I couldn't be happier and neither could my vacuum.
