TUSHY Travel Bidet, Discreet for Outdoors & Travel, Takeoff Teal, 1 Piece

First things first: Dont buy this thinking its going to be the travel equivalent of a bidet seat (I have a Tushy Ace). If you do, youll be disappointed. Its essentially a squeeze bottle with a nozzle designed to spray the water in a more concentrated stream than a bottle from which youd drink. It wont get your arse as clean as a bidet seat will: Youll still need to use some TP. Theres also a definite learning curve in terms of how to hold this thing most effectively and how to aim it before squeezing to shoot water, especially given that you cant really see what youre doing unless you have a mirror right next to your toilet. With that said, Ive used this on one trip so far and it proved outstanding at reducing the need to use the hotel-grade single-ply sandpaper (especially after something I ate upset my digestive system). I found it a bit awkward at first but got used to it within the first day or so (having to take multiple dumps surely accelerated the process). It holds a good amount of water, so you can fill it in advance, have it ready to use, and not have to worry about it running out on you. It also collapses down to a very nice small size for transport; I had mine tucked inside my rollaboard carry-on suitcase. The one thing I havent figured out yet is whether a hotel maid might be confused to find this on the back of the toilet tank (we didnt bother requesting housekeeping at either hotel on our recent trip because we werent there long enough to need it). I'm satisfied enough that I may buy a second one of those to keep at the office (Im normally a telecommuter). If I do, I think Ill keep it in a desk drawer. My office is not a place where discussion of bidets would over well. I also like the orange coloras an alumnus of the University of Virginia, I find the shade of orange to be just right, though I wish there were a navy blue color for that second one Im thinking of buying. So I give it five stars based on what it is.
