It works well for small cereal, but does not work well for larger cereal. It also breaks cereal as it dispenses.

This item sells cheaper straight from Temu, but let me mention why I dislike this product. It's nice if you are going for looks, but other than that it does not function very well at all. The overall size and appearance is pleasing. The materials for things like this are commonly plastic and that's okay. The rotator inside is a rubber material and feels durable. My dislikes are the following: only works for a limited amount of food items, the lids do not have a seal so food items inside the container may go stale, and the plastic legs break very easily if you are not careful when putting it together. My son and I tried the following food items: Reese puffs cereal, lucky charms cereal, frosted mini wheats cereal, squishmallow cereal, fruity pebbles cereal, m%26m's, mini marshmallows, goldfish, teddy grahams, and Cheerios cereal. The only items that worked well without getting stuck or needing to rotate/jiggle the knob back are forth were: mini marshmallows, m%26m's, and the Reese Puffs cereal. All other items we tried were crushed and turned into tiny crumbs. I thought this would be something I'd set on the kitchen counter so that my kiddos wouldn't have to reach for the cereal on the top shelf in the pantry. It seems anything hard and/or ball shaped may work okay. I honestly will probably shop around and find a better quality dispenser. However, this specific dispenser may be cute to use for candy or something at a party.
