Works great as I was hanging doors. Wear gloves as they can pinch your palms when you squeeze the handle to raise it. I used them straight out of the box, no fuzz. I've yet to use them when moving my fridge, as I will test the load/weight capability specs. It takes about 50 squeezes to raise it to the maximum height of 10 inches, but for safety, maybe not the super heavy stuff at that height; best to insert a pin (or small screw driver) into the hole at the top to keep you from going over. One can lower it by inches with the same number of presses, or by a single sustained press to reduce it immediately.
