Took 2 hours to set up

This device looked promising and had an adequate number of keys with a volume knob. But it was such a nightmare to get set up and running. First of all there's no mention anywhere of where to download the software. After some searching I found a website with the software for the K816B which is what it seems to say on the mostly useless manual. Downloaded it, checked for viruses on virustotal. It was clean. But it wouldn't recognize the device. Even though the device was able to send keys, which were configured by default to Num1, Num2, Num3 and Num4. It's all in Chinese, with no option to change the language. I used google lens to translate it. I took a chance and tried one that said K816A. This one was able to detect the device and was in English. The software is intuitive and buggy. There's no way to specify the delay between keys, it just records the delay as you type. You can update it later, but if you have a few keys to enter, like a long password, it's hard to do. I took the time to set it up and it's working, but I don't recommend this at all, unless you have a lot of time and patience.
