In 1925, Rinaldo and Ezilda Torre create hand-crafted syrups from recipes brought over from Lucca, Italy to the North Beach neighborhood in San Francisco, California. The first flavors are Anisette, Grenadine, Lemon, Orgeat, and Tamarindo. By 1933 and the end of Prohibition, Ezilda is one of the first female rectifiers of distilled spirits in the US. She leads Torani through the Great Depression and WWII. In 1982 our Vanilla helps create some magic and is used in the first flavored latte. After seeing its success, we begin to focus on the specialty coffee industry.

Amazing Starbucks at home!

I'm currently pregnant and I've been getting cravings for Starbucks. I make myself a decaf espresso add some Torani hazelnut syrup, spoon of sugar and throw it all in a blender with milk and ice. Starbucks at home! It tastes exactly the same. I highly recommend it. Also my husband loves his nespresso and I just a little drop or two to his espresso and he loves the hazelnut flavor. Very pure taste. I'd recommend it to any coffee lover.

I love the vanilla because it is great by itself and mixes well with other sugar free Torani options. For a special treat I use one tbs SF Vanilla with SF Salted Caramel or SF English Toffee!!!
