The have a smooth flavor, not too sharp. The fact that they do use peppermint oil in the making of them is the main reason I purchase this brand. I like to have these mints when I'm reading at night, and I always keep some in my purse for when driving, or out shopping. They soothe the dryness in my mouth. The flavor is fresh and clean. I've been buying them for years and will continue to do so.

You get a ton of mints for the price, so it lasts a long time and is great for sharing. Most of the candies were fresh and had a nice firm texture. The only reason I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5 is that a few pieces were a little crumbly or broken, which happens with hard candy in a big bag. Not a dealbreaker, just something to note. Overall, a great budget-friendly option if you like classic peppermint mints.
