This product goes down two or three generations in my family. My mother always used Murphys also soap as a mild product to mop her wooden floors. I use it on my floors and woodwork because it doesn't harm them, but I use it for something that none of my family ever used it for I'm an artist And I do painting. I've always use Murphy's soul soap to clean my brushes because it gets that pain out and also it doesn't harm the brushes.

Best paint brush cleaner ever

It doesn't get any better than Murphy's! It's great for cleaning all around the house. Favorite use is for paint brushes. Had some old hardened paint brushes. Even after a month, Murphy's saved the brushes! Just soak in undiluted Murphy's overnight. Comb out the brushes. Re-soak and comb until no paint remains and rinse clean. Save the remaining used paint soak in a tight jar. It's completely reusable.

This is an excellant product. There is no resudue or scrubbing necessary. It made my entire apartment sparke, and the smell is grear. It brought me back to childhood. I love the fact that the extra mop I bought to clean the residue was unneccary because there is no residue.
