Keep clean water flowing with these Berkey PF-2 Fluoride/Arsenic Replacement Filters. Each pack comes with two filters so you can keep a fresh one handy. The fluoride water filters remove fluoride, arsenic V, pre-oxidized Arsenic III and other residual heavy metal ions. It's recommended that each set of two PF-2 elements be replaced after 1,000 gallons. As an example, The Royal Berkey system is about 3.25 gallons and therefore the filters should be replaced after 307 (1,000/3.25) refills. Or in other words, if the system is refilled about one time per day they, should be replaced after 10 months; if the system is refilled about twice per day, they should be replaced about every 5 months. The arsenic water filters are easy to install because you simply screw the PF-2 fluoride filter into the Black Berkey filters.
- Designed for use in conjunction with Black Berkey Elements (only), Berkey PF-2 Fluoride and Arsenic Reduction Elements absorb unwanted elements found in drinking water
- Attach to the bottom of the Black Berkey Elements and sit in the lower chamber of the Berkey water filter system unit
- Number of Berkey PF-2 Elements in the bottom chamber must match the number of Black Berkey Elements in the top chamber
- For example, 4 Black Berkey Elements would require 4 PF-2 filters
