I have been taking turmeric supplements for many years and this is the first time for me to try the liquid form. The capsules are regular size and it is suggested to take 2 capsules a day. I usually find other brands with black pepper added to enhance absorption, this one is with vitamin D added which I am not sure if it is for the same purpose. 1000mg active ingredient per 2 capsules, similar to the other brands. No strong after taste and I believe liquid form can be faster absorbed by the body than powder form.

I have dodgy knees along with other muscular skeletal things going on, so was pleased to try these ‘Optisorb Liquid Curcumin with Vitamin D – 60 Liqcaps | 185x Turmeric & Curcumin Bioavailability – Ultra Bioavailable | Liquid Capsules’ 1. The capsules come in a black plastic bottle, with a black plastic screw top lid. 2. There is a security seal under the lid. 3. You get 60 capsules, so at the recommended dose of 2 per day (preferably with a meal) you get enough for one month. 4. The capsules themselves are fairly chunky, with a liquid inside. However, I find that they slip down easily for me, although I do know that some people have trouble taking capsules etc. 5. I have been taking them for two weeks now and they have caused me no side effects. I tried one capsule per day for the first week, upping it to the full dose the second week. 6. I have noticed that my knees are not so painful on going up stairs, which I must put down to the capsules. I can’t say that I have noticed a difference in my neck pain but I will carry on taking the full 60 capsules and hope I might see an improvement. 7. As well as the curcumin you get 216% of Vitamin D3 per serving. 8. They are allergen free, maximum absorption, non GMO, 100% vegetarian, lactose, gluten and wheat free and with no gelatine. Made in Germany. 9. This bottle has a best before date of 04/2022. In summary – A good supplement that seems to be working for me, without side effects. The price of £19.99 per month is a rather expensive in my opinion but the ingredients are obviously high quality and do help my pain levels.

This form of cucumin (tumeric) works great for my joint pain. I take it once a day, right before bed. I am very happy with this purchase and will continue to buy it. The packaging is great, it’s in a real glass bottle and the capsules are easy to swallow.
