I needed a smallish cabinet to store office-type things in, and the main two things I was looking for were doors and a wood finish that would blend well with my desk and other wooden furniture in this area of my home. What I ended up with unfortunately didn't satisfy either requirement, and at the price, I feel it qualifies as expensive garbage. It wasn't the same color as advertised (the picture showed more red than ash), which I could get over, but both doors warped within 48 hours of the thing being put together and placed. I mean I don't even know how something like that happens. Now I have to take everything out again, possibly disassemble it, and either try to figure out a fix, or return it. Moral of the story, folks: Just because it's box furniture doesn't excuse an item being junk. I'll just have to remember to stick to Ikea in the future when I'm in need of a similar storage solution. Because again, it may come in a box, but Ikea stuff is never junk and sometimes it's even less expensive than the stuff WalMart carries.
