Smells really nice that's because it does says it has citronellyl alcohol which is save for hair use not your typical alcohol. Do your research. It's non-drying and used typically in products to add a fragrance which is what this product is supposed to do. It lasts for hours if you spray in the air and walk into it, but even days if sprayed directly into hair.
