Boasts a high RC hardness rating for the blade... not the case in this instance. Out of the box sharpness was abysmal. Once honed, 1st pass on a piece of hickory completely rolled the edge. I would not recommend this product or purchase again. I would not take one if it was offered for free. It would not even make a good wall hanger, paperweight or boat anchor.
