Safe for older adults!
Purchased this to get away from gas for my mother (82). It's easy to use, and makes the kitchen look much bigger. The par boil feature is great; we brag about it to all our friends!

Bought to replace GE Gas Cooktop
Had a gas leak in my Kitchen Island, so had to switch from GE gas cooktop to electric. Picked GE because of the great service life that I got form the Gas unit. 12 years of excellent service. Electric unit dropped right in old Granite opening and after electrician hooked it up, it fired off and is working great. Thanks GE !

Better Features than the GE Profile Cooktop
I dropped a heavy glass bowl on the edge of the Profile Cooktop. Just a small chip broke off so I repaired it with White Porcelin Repair. But then after heat hit the 2 burners near the chip, the Cooktop cracked. After searching for another Profile, which GE doesn't make anymore in "white" I settled on this one. I'm glad I did. This one has much better features. Like a quick boil burner.
